There are no formal entry requirements for our Foundation Learning courses. All applicants will be asked to attend an assessment event, where the Foundation Learning Team will assess you to find out the most suitable course for you.
Level 2 courses generally require 4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above including English and maths at grade 3. To prepare you for a higher-level qualification, employment or university you might be required to study a GCSE qualification in English and maths.
Level 3 courses generally require 5 GCSEs at grades 9 – 4 including English and maths. To prepare you for a higher level course, employment or university. You will be required to study towards GCSE English and maths Grade 4 or above.
If for any reason you can’t apply online you can now fill out the application form on your computer and e-mail it back to us. E-mail all application forms to course.enquiries@tcg.ac.uk. The College is open Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm for you to drop off your application in person if you wish to do so. You can also ask for support filling out your application at the college too. We have copies with us at our Main Reception.
