Course Overview

This course is for anyone who assesses both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the workplace (for example a workshop, classroom or other training environment). You will need to have achieved a competence based qualification using approved standards.

Course Requirements

This course is for anyone involved in the assessment of learners leading to competence based qualifications.

What you will Learn

Students will learn to understand the principles and practice of assessment and how to assess competence in a vocational area.

Assessment

Course assessment wil be a combination of submission of a Portfolio of evidence and workplace activities relating to the process oof quality assurance.

Progression

Upon successful completion of the course students may progress to our more advanced Education and Training courses.
