Course Overview

This HTQ is designed to equip students with a robust skill set and in-depth knowledge across diverse facets of computing and network engineering. The first year covers a wide range of topics relating to computer fundamentals including programming, networking and website design which provides the background knowledge required to approach more advanced subjects in the second year and in the final research project.

Security is a paramount concern in today’s interconnected world, and the network security content addresses this by providing students with a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices from securing data to safeguarding network integrity. Students gain practical insights into ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of digital assets.

Course Requirements

Whilst applications are considered on an individual basis, offers are usually based on a requirement to have:

64 UCAS points from either:
– A L3 qualification in a relevant subject
– GCE A levels
