Each year, hundreds of our students from across Stockport and Trafford Colleges come together to celebrate their success in a ceremony that has become the College Group’s largest annual evening.  A ceremony that exhibits the talent, dedication and innovation of students.

Celebrate your hard work at our own prestigious event, along with your family, friends and tutors.

As the most significant celebration in the academic year, the Higher Education Graduation Awards are held in the iconic Stockport Town Hall. As student achievements are recognised and celebrated, we also welcome back past students and a number of esteemed guests, including the Mayor of Stockport, to impart their experiences and advice to graduates.

Our graduates have followed their academic ambitions and achieved success as teachers, nurses, illustrators and entrepreneurs, using the knowledge, skills and qualifications they have gained with us.

Every graduating student is entitled to two guest tickets up to the registration deadline on 20th September. Unfortunately, due to the venue’s capacity, it is highly unlikely that we will be able to offer any additional guest tickets or seats. However, if further tickets do become available, we will notify you via email w/c 23rd September.

Children over the age of 3 years will need their own seat and therefore must be included in your guest count. Our graduation ceremonies last for approximately 90 minutes and are not tailored for young children, however their attendance is welcome. Children under 3 will be allowed to sit on a guest’s lap if they will be comfortable for the duration of the ceremony.
For the comfort of other guests, guardians may be asked to take any child that becomes agitated or distressed out of the auditorium. If this happens, we appreciate your understanding in advance.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Graduates and guests are seated separately within the room. Please be aware that children will not be sitting with graduates but must sit with guests.
