You will be introduced to blocks, learn how to take measurements correctly, adjust ready-made patterns and create patterns from your own designs. Once you have gained pattern drafting skills, you will learn how to stitch garments together using machinery such as domestic sewing machines and over lockers, as well as attaching a variety of fastenings, creating pleats and darts.
